I would love to get some feedback on the ideas presented in this blog post, as I the ideas are so divergent from what I've always been taught.

Ideas like this should not be accepted or rejected without intense scrutiny.
This post is difficult for me to give my agreement or my dissent. It's too big, too broad, too vague. Sure, there are many instances when what Carey says is true. However how many really, REALLY stupid ideas have happened because the person didn't get another's opinion?
